Localiza Rent A Car Leverages TIBCO Software Solutions to Improve Delivery of Services to Customers
PALO ALTO, Calif., November 13, 2009 - TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) today announced Localiza Rent A Car, the largest fleet operator of branches and rental cars in Latin America, will deploy TIBCO Spotfire®, as well as service oriented architecture (SOA), business process management (BPM) and master data management (MDM) solutions offered by TIBCO, to streamline its business processes, providing the company with greater competitive advantage.
In the first phase of a multi-year project, Localiza will focus on:
- Leveraging Spotfire to intuitively and visually enhance business intelligence analysis, enabling the company to immediately answer questions, find new insights hidden in data and quickly react to changing business conditions
- Improving operational efficiency with TIBCO BusinessWorks™, TIBCO ActiveMatrix® and TIBCO iProcess™ to achieve a streamlined business processes that enable the company the flexibility to support the complex interactions between internal applications and its users
During the second phase, Localiza plans to implement master data management (MDM) solutions to provide better services to its customers by accelerating services to market.
